Larkhill Observatory

Larkhill is a private Astronomy Observatory built by two amateur astronomers in the North West of England.
It was built to provide a more productive way of performing Astronomy of the night sky and daytime Solar imaging without the hassle of dragging astronomy equipment out of the home and setting up, polar aligning etc, each time.
It was over a year in the planning and build and is now ready to refine and use in earnest.

The Observatory is based in a Bortle class 6 area, an area with a lot of light pollution, but not as bad as a City. In fact the area is about 8 miles West of Liverpool city as the "crow flys", so most imaging will be performed with light pollution filters and some Narrow Band Imaging will be attempted.
This Website is a first attempt at building one so please forgive the simple way it is built - it will get better.
Also, it has not been optimised for Cell Phone usage yet, so it may look strange on mobile phones for now.
It is a Website in the making, so please stay tuned for futher developments if you are interested.
